Clarize du Plessis

Attorney & Conveyancer

Clarize obtained her B.A. LLB degree from Stellenbosch University in 2002, completed her articles in Cape Town, and was admitted as an Attorney and Conveyancer in 2005. She gained valuable experience before joining Schur Marais Du Plessis Attorneys as a partner in 2014. Clarize has guided clients for more than two decades with their property transactions across the Boland region.

Known for her approachable nature and professionalism, Clarize builds lasting relationships through honest advice, clear communication and personalised service. She has a natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life, earning their trust and guiding them with confidence through every legal matter.

Outside of work, Clarize is married to a local farmer and they have two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and loves to travel and explore the outdoors.

Pieter Marais

Attorney

Pieter obtained his LLB degree from the North-West University in 2011. He completed his articles at the firm and became a partner in 2013.

Pieter practises in family law, civil disputes and criminal defence, and attends to the firm's personal injury and Road Accident Fund claims. He also advises on evictions, debt recovery and employment matters.

Pieter is known for his dedication to both his clients and the Worcester community. He is passionate about contributing to the town's growth and development, and is an active member of Round Table, a charitable organisation committed to serving and uplifting local communities.

Outside the office, Pieter is married to a local business owner and they have one son. He values spending quality time with his family and believes in making a positive difference both professionally and within the community.

Christo Bronkhorst

Attorney

Christo obtained his LLB degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA) in 2023 and completed his articles at the firm. He was admitted as an Attorney in 2025. He practises in criminal defence, civil disputes, family law and evictions, and attends to the firm's correspondent work for other law firms.

Outside the office, Christo is married to Janine, who is also an Attorney, and together they have one daughter and enjoy spending quality time as a family. Christo is also an avid sports shooter and, in 2019, won the IDPA African Nationals held at the False Bay Sport Shooting Club in Cape Town — reflecting the discipline, focus and dedication he brings to both his personal pursuits and his legal practice.
